International Symposium “Mine Impact on One Health” will be held.
2022.2.7
On February 15th (08:00-13:00 ZM, 15:00-20:00 JP) an international symposium “Mine Impact on One Health” will be held. Zambia is a country rich in mineral resources and environmental damage caused by an extraction of its minerals is becoming an alarming issue.
University of Zambia and Hokkaido University have been working together to reveal the negative impact of lead pollution from environmental/socioeconomic point of view, as well as its toxicological effect on human/animal health so that we can restore the damage based on scientific approach.
In this symposium, you will be exposed to discussions and presentation of research conducted by One Health approach. This will be a wonderful opportunity to gain the firsthand knowledge of interdisciplinary research activities. We believe you will find this symposium stimulating and inspiring. Looking forward to your active participation.
