In this project, we have introduced a 3D printer for conservation medicine education last year. Therefore, we held a FD for faculty members to utilize the printer. Moderated by Prof. Katagiri of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (HU), Prof. Nonaka (Vet Med, HU) explained the significance of using 3D models for education and the background of the introduction of 3D printer, and then the Education Reform Office (Vet Med, HU) shared the unique features of 3D printers. Mr. Mukai (Institute for Catalysis, HU) also introduced some actual examples of 3D models. There were 37 participants from various research/educational fields who were interested in 3D printers, and we are looking forward to their future applications.
